Description
The T4 transponder is an ultrasonic transmitter/receiver that communicates with the Vertex instrument. The T4 transponder can be used both for direct measuring (60º), and in 360º when used with the “360 adapter” – for example when working in circular sample plots.
The T4 is equipped with an audible signal that tells if the transponder is activated or not.
The T4 has no switch and the Vertex and/or DME is used as a remote control to turn off and on. When turned on, the T4 Transponder stays activated for app. 20 minutes.
To measure in a 360° circle with the transponder, the T4 is attached to the adapter. The adapter spreads and receives the ultrasound in a full circle. The adapter can be mounted onto the custom plot center staff.
T4 is the new improved Transponder that replaces the T3 and all previous transponders.
T4 has six built-in LEDs that indicate if:
- T4 is active and responsive with the measuring instrument
- There are disruptive noises
A new Transponder T4 has a new housing for:
- Extended battery space for all brands of 1,5V batteries (AA)
- Updated electronics to increase product life time
T4 is fully compatible with older measuring instruments!
