The FTC Stiffline Throwline combined with a throw bag lets you reach even the most difficult forks in trees.

The engineers designed the FTC Stiffline Throwline two-component throwline with a highly resistant Dyneema cover and a super-rigid nylon core. Dyneema has the best gliding coefficient for textile fibres, and it can be particularly useful for adjusting the rope position and scraping of bark. Its nylon core gives it a certain stiffness, so it will not coil as much as other lines, and it helps throwing further as well as being less likely to know so you can avoid wasting time untangling it.

It is smoother and lighter, to reach the highest areas with little effort and has a very long lifespan.

It’s a very solid material, so FTC recommend undoing the throwbags after each unsuccessful throw since the line is hard to break without the breaking fuse point. However, the 1.8 mm version is easier to handle, more adapted for first-timers

FTC keep developing their packaging in order to produce as little plastic waste as possible. As an example, the new Stiffline products are sold in a cardboard packaging that reduces plastic waste.
