Where weight is less of an issue, nylon slings comes into their own. The nylon 16mm has the same strength as our Dynatec slings, but they offer a greater safety margin from abrasion because there is more physical material. It is a good all-round material that withstands repeated flexing better than Dynatec, has greater shock absorbsion, is less expensive and has a higher melting point. If you have to keep to a tight budget then nylon is a good option, especially if you need to source a large number of slings.
