The Courant Phoenix Hitch Cord is a 2 eyed hitch cord that has been developed for tying different kinds of hitches and works as the perfect brake on arborist climbing ropes. The sheath of this cord is manufactured from the latest generation aramid fibres which are highly resistant to heat, wear & tear, and UV radiation.

At the start of 2020, Courant replaced the traditional heat shrink tube with a moulded polymer end protector as a finishing touch.

The Phoenix is available in 8mm or 10mm diameter as a lanyard with 2 stitched eyes in either 70cm or 90cm. In order to recognise the different diameters, the 8mm has white seams whereas the 10mm has grey seams
