The LaserGeo is an excellent choice of instrument for measurements of trees and in theutility industry general surveying etc.

This laser device with inbuilt GPS& compass can measure distance, height & canopy of trees, border treesand safety distances. 3D powerline, 3D map area & 3D wood pile measurements(or other heaps) is also a simple operation with the Laser Geo.

The LaserGeo instrument is especially adapted for long range measurement in open areas.It measures distances from approx. 0.5m up to 700 metres with high accuracy andreliability.

A laserfilter allows for flexible measuring, where you can select to measure theclosest object, the farthest object or the object that submits the strongestsignal. Includes heads-up display where results from your measurements aredisplayed in real-time and full USB connection for data transfer andcustomization of firmware.

The LaserGeo has a built-in Li-Ion rechargeable battery. An illuminated adjustable sightingcross improves sighting and spotting of individual power lines and otherobjects.

Theinstrument is rugged with reinforced housing and display, water resistant, hasa user-friendly interface, fully integrated technology, and a built-in mountingpoint for camera-type monopod if a steadier aim is required for long rangemeasurements.

GPS andMapping

The builtin GPS-receiver and a 5-position numeric ID-attribute allow you to tagimportant data with coordinates with a simple key press. Your data is stored ona built in SSD drive and immediately available for further processing whenconnecting a standard USB 2.0 interface to any PC or Apple computer. Noinstallation routines, converting software or special drivers are needed. Your fielddata can be opened straight in your favourite GIS- or spreadsheet application.Complex operations such as area measurement, 3D mapping of targets and Trailmapping have integrated functions that also are available to you without anyexternal tools. The 3D Vector function allows you to measure horizontal targetssuch as canopy width. 

Heights 

3-point,2-point or 1-point or direct measuring - choose preferred method to work within the easy-to-follow menu system. A non-magnification dot sight helps you toidentify individual targets such as tree tops and power lines.
