Meindl Airstream – the sporty one – is the proven safety boot for chain saw operators with cut protection and a steel toe cap. When designing the boot, the requirements of the KWF workshop “Safety boots for forestry” were implemented. In addition, a whole “package” of details tried and tested in trekking practice was installed:

• High enough at the front for saw protection, as the strap length is 23 cm.
• 2-component sole : Very grippy, abrasion-resistant rubber with movable lamellae characterize the outer sole area. Inside, the sole has an open, self-cleaning profile. The strong web profiling provides additional grip even on slippery surfaces. Springy PU midsole as shock absorber. Supination and pronation support.
• Innovative Digafix lacing system : With this lacing, the pull starts lower and reaches further. This means that the foot sits better in the heel area.
• MFSystem: a specially developed foam padding. Sits like a glove.
• Air Revolution System (AirStream): Very high breathability, which is about 33% higher than the average of other Gore-Tex boots. When walking, the built-in pumping system ensures additional moisture removal.
